Nike Hypervenom, VR

What if you could step into the shoes of one of the world’s greatest soccer players? With the release of Nike’s Hypervenom II, we built Nike’s very first virtual reality experience to do just that. First person POV had not been done before at the time, but Director Adam Berg and Digital Domain rose to the challenge.

Taking advantage of Google’s new 360 degree video support, we launched the experience on Youtube and designed Google Cardboard mobile headsets that accompanied every shoe purchase. The experience was also available on the then nascent Oculus Rift. The campaign launched in 22 retail stores all around the world and was featured in the The Washington Post.
