Watch on Watch brings unmissable, in-the-moment, live highlights directly to the Gear S2. This concept for Samsung’s Gear S2 put watch owners in-the-know before anyone else by making the content glanceable. Content is delivered to watches via subscribed, branded channels. While this concept was not produced, it is an ideal example of appropriate contextual design for an existing physical product. We were never meant to watch or read long form content on our watch—it’s a device specifically used for discrete, simple information like the time of day, the date… or newsworthy gifs.
